Electronic Notepad - Capture Your Notes and Sketches Digitally!
Our website is designed to give you the information you need
to make good choices and find good deals on an electronic notepad and selected other accessories for your
executive responsibiltes.
What Is It?
An electronic notepad is a digital writing pad that is the perfect marriage between a paper legal pad and an
internal computing machine.
Our Example
As our example, we'll use the DigiMemo L2 digital notepad that is 13.2 x 0.47 x 9.9 inches with 32 MB of RAM
memory. This notepad weighs 3.8 pounds, and costs about $163 full retail but can be bought for less.
- 32 MB built-in memory and CompactFlash expansion slot to add more
- Writing area 8.5 x 11 inches for full letter size
- Included DigiMemo Manager software to view, edit, and organize digital pages
It comes with a wireless digital pen, a supply of standard 8.5"x11" paper, a USB cable for connecting with your
computer, and lasts up to 100 hours on 4 AAA batteries.
Sample Review from User
I have used the 8-1/2"x11" Digital Notepad every weekday for the past month to teach high school math classes. I
use the on-line writing feature with a laptop connected to a projector to put notes on the board. I print these
notes to pdf format using PrimoPDF and post them to a website. I use the Notepad off-line to write out and save
solutions to exercises which would take too long to type in mathematical notation: these pages are easily
downloaded from the Notepad's memory to a computer and printed to pdf format for posting on the web. After about 90
hours of use, I have found this product to be reliable and well worth the price.
Here's What It Looks Like, Step By Step
1. With the special pen, you write on the standard paper pages while the notepad digitally captures all that you
write and draw.
2. Your notes and drawings are faithfully recorded on the standard paper, just as if you had used a normal legal
pad.
If you've ever been in a totally paperless environment, then you've discovered that sometimes the hard copy is
just more convenient and easier to brainstorm with.
3. But, in addition to the hard copy, the digital notepad has recorded every letter and loop in its internal
memory. The example we are using can store up to 99 pages of notes and drawings.
4. At your convenience, use the USB cable to upload your digital notes and drawings to your computer (desktop or
laptop) to incorporate into Word documents or to email to colleagues.
The Best of Both Worlds
If there was ever an electronic device that was more tailor-made for a busy professional I can't imagine what it
might be. An electronic notepad combines the portability and ease of use of a regular legal pad with the computing
power of digital capture and storage. It features:
- hard copy record of your notes and drawings
- digital record for easy organizing, storage and communications
- great internal storage for 99 pages of data
- ease of transfer via USB
- long battery life for both the notepad and the pen
- standard paper available anywhere
- slim and light for easy portability
- . . . and it's cool!
